older mustang wing? foxbody?
thats what I thought initially, but they were higher up on those car they didn't sit so low. So unless they cut a foxbody wing up a little, then i don't think it is.

Have no clue which type of wing that is; however it does look perfect on that beautiful black SHO.

Looks like a cross between a Fox-Body Saleen (is that which one im thinking of?) wing and an 03-04 Terminator wing... Its custom i bet :)

Jay, when Jay owned that car he had posted pics of it and in that thread he answered that question - IIRC. I don't think that thread is still here after the Forum crashed. You could always ask him directly.

Hava good weekend, man :thumb:

Sorry, I don't check the tech forums anymore....

I acquired that spoiler from RickieFrat (does he still hang out at SHOforum?) about 4 years back. Everybody I've talked to could not tell me where the spoiler came from, who made it, or anything of that sort. I will tell you, it is one heavy piece of fiberglass, though. :oogle: As I recall, there were no manufacturing numbers or stamps on the underside of the spoiler.

I did not do any custom filler work, no cutting, no re-working of any kind to fit it on the deck. Even the curve of the lower edge mated up with the curve of the trunk-lid. It was like it was made for the GenI Taurus. It must have been an early-production piece, possibly a prototype? Nobody has seen one like it since.
The mounting bolts were broken off, and it had a few spider-cracks in the surface. Unfortunately, I cannot remember how in the world we attached it to the deck. I suffer from CRS....

That spoiler, along with the few other body-tricks, really set that car apart from other GenI's. I just wish Photobucket wasn't blocked here, as I can't see the pics.

Here's a gratuitous shot from when I was selling the car, sans Police grille:

I think he meant photobucket is blocked at his work.

I'm not a spoiler guy at all, but I do like that one!
