cruise control?

is there a fuse for the cruise control and where is it? my cruise control was working fine havent used it in about 3-4 months but all the sudden nothing, any ideas?

Unplug the connector from the Speed Control Disconnect Switch on the bottom of the brake master cylinder. Inspect for fluid in the connector. If fluid is found, leave the connector disconnected until you can get the switch replaced and the fused harness installed that is part of last month's announced recall.

For testing only, install a jumper into the connector from the SCDS, insulate and isolate it to keep it from shorting out to chassis, and see if the cruise now works. If it does, the switch has failed.

Make certain your brake lights work.

if it were the VSS what symptoms would i get, the only thing not working is the cruise control, i really need to sell this car.

Vehicle Speed Sensor. Its located on top of the transmission on the passenger side. Difficult to see and even more difficult to replace. I've got a good used one if you need. PM me.
