Cruise Control and Horn Inop

I have an intermittent problem with my cruise control and horn. Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. I have checked all the connections under the dash according to the Ford wiring diagrams. Any help would be appreciated.

Probably the clockspring. Search under clockspring for more information.

Yup! Did one on a '90 earlier this fall. Not terribly difficult, but be careful not to detonate your airbag...

same boat but doesn't work at all. how do you clean the clockspiring and is that black piece of plastic. also where is the horn/cruise ground?
