My car makes a very painful creak if I'm not ever so gentle engaging reverse. It also creaks when turning the wheel left when stopped. I don't know if the noises are related, but I suspect they are. My car wants to scream bloody ****** going uphill in reverse. That seems like the worst thing I can do to her.

I have a shonut extreme front mount that is for sure not broken (anymore). Last I checked, the motor wasn't moving in the bay when doing the motor mount test. Engagement in first is rather smooth without clunks. As a matter of fact, I can race through the gears pretty smoothly which I believe says the mounts are ok.

I did Aluminum subframe bushings a couple years ago, along with the recall kit. I've tightened them from time to time, recently a couple months ago. I rarely get the noise in reverse, because I try not to put myself in the position to create it, but the the turning left creak is fairly constant.

I also have greaseable moog front sway bar links, and fairly new tie rod ends that were just greased up again this weekend. Turning creak is still there.
I want to say the turning creak went away this summer, and only recently came back since the weather dropped into the 50's at times over the last week.

My car is getting up there in mileage... over 157k.
