crank sensor

How many people are there that want a crank sensor for 89 to 95. It appears Standard Ignition can make them but they will want some numbers. I have low mile mint 1995 which is down because of crank sensor. People will need these and I bet there are some down cars because of crank sensor. I need to find some type of number for Standard Ignition.

I wonder what the minimum run is? Our group buys usually fizzle with the enthusiast numbers down so low these days.

If you can, get a price from Standard Motors on a batch of 100 or whatever number you feel is appropriate.

If they made them before, it should not be a hardship to revive the process.

I would guess that the market could bear something between $50.00 to $100.00, but that is just my guess.

Really, you need to contact the buyers at Autozone, NAPA, OReilly, RockAuto etc and see if they would be down for being part of this order. Many SHO and Thunderbird SC owners aren't going to be finding this out until they need to replace one.

Don't forget Amazon.com as an outlet. They have a price and seem to be taking orders on the part, but don't have any on hand. SMP might be making them the same deal - get some orders and when there are enough for a production run, they will fulfill. I bought the last one Advance Auto Parts had in my region about 6 months ago. The asking price might be more than $100, but discounts might be available.
