its an LO5/S? computer....

that would be badass if the ECU fixes all his problems!

Well I did get the ECU, thank you 38SHO, and well I don"t know. I tried to start it up before I put the new ECU in and it didn't start like my ignition went out or alarm was stuck on and not letting me start. I push started it and it started right up and I reversed, put it in first and it wigged out. The tac and speedo went all the way and then came back and radio made a wine noise and it died. Put the new computer in and it still wont start, push start it and it kinda runs as long as I floor it and then it slowly dies. I can't even explain what it does but it doesn't run completely and it smells like fuel when I do that. So thats it, it sucks I need someone else to look at it. Cause I am clueless like always. Thanks for reading.

Have any battery issues with that car? Maybe the alt is on the fritz. I think you are having a couple problems going on.

Is that the same battery that was draining if you didn't run it? If so, find a cheapie...**** take it to autozone and have them test that and even the alternator like Kelvin suggested. Put a volt meter on the battery and see what it reads with no load.

I know that happened to me before on the 89

yep its the same battery, but now it holds a lot less charge. It doesn't even start with the jumpers hooked up either though. But maybe when I push start it, it just doesn't have enough power to keep it running, good point. I will look into it. Oh yeah and does anybody want to buy a green SHO? its real clean, give you a good deal.

pull the battery and alternator out and take them to autozone and have them test them.
