ok got the power steering pully taken care of...after cutting my useless AC line ( it was sooooo rusted that part of it crushed in my hand) i just cut the line and that gave me to space to remove the pump..but i had removed teh CPS ( crank posstioing senseor for thouse who dont know what that is) and now the back 3 pistions dont seem to fire correctly when she warms up.
when cold shes fine and ya dont notice a damn thing.
so is there something i need to look at to correct this and is this the real problem?

thanks guys
( btw this is a 93 ATX)

Are you talking about the cam sensor? As the crank sensor is on the crank and no where near the PS pump. You didn't put any water back there did you?

probably oil in the wells, or have you done a full tune up lately? the sensors going out will in most cases just stall the motor, and you tach might not work most of the time wtih the cam sensor malfunctioning...you will get a could 213 i believe...if your cam sensor is beaten.

thanks man!
btw..what would the sensor cost me?
cause now that ya mention it the RPMs are erratic to say the least and she wants to stall pretty often
and as for the oil in the wells...i do have the problem and i know its not serious (like its gonna **** the engine) but where do i get the new rubber booties or what else can i do to stop that?
thanks dude!! :D

ok well if you have oil in your spark plug wells, depending how high it is, that will wreck your spark plug boots after a lil while, and will most likely cause a misfire situation on that cylinder when it gets really soaked.

you will need new valve cover gaskets, with the spark plug well seals...they are rubber, with a metal ring inside to form the shape of the well, they arnt actually a tube or anything...just a smaller round seal. these are famous to go on the SHO...you may be able to find them seperately, but depending how old...and therefore cracked your valve cover gaskets re, they should be replaced at the same time. this is also the time when the shims should be checked for proper gaps. search top 60k service for more info on the upper engine maintenance.

heres 2 sites you will learn a lot from:
