I posted about a week ago about my no start and no spark condition. When I turn it over it cranks, the tach moves but the CE light stays on through the cranking. I tried to pull KOEO codes but nothing but the cylinder id and system OK showed up, but the battery died previously. Since then I've pulled the DIS and had it checked at Murrays, and re-applied fresh heat sink paste (for whatever reason every Auto Zone I went to could not locate the plug ins for our module) and checked all the grounds and strap. I checked fuel pressure at the valve, and stuck a screwdriver in a plug and grounded it to the manifold to check for spark.
Since this no spark condition presented itself without any previous related problems or driveability issues I ruled out the coil packs since my searching found that they dont all fail at once.
Now to the issue at hand, I picked up a wells su 242 cps for 57.99 at A-Z and a I am in the process of installing it. I am following the instructions that appear in shotimes.com and have been able to remove the existing sensor but in was very tight pulling it through, especially up near the fuel rails and through the opening in the middle timing belt cover. Has any one done it this way on an ATX and have any pointers on how to snake it through. I know that removing everything and the middle cover along with a 60K would make it easier to install but the timing belt only has 20,000 miles on it and I have no driveway or garage and I need this car running by Monday or because of work I wont be able to get to it again until next weekend. (somebody get me a tissue)
Seriously though, any pointers would be a great big help.
Thanks in Advance
