Just in the reassembly phase of 60k..mounting CPS in the AM, but just read a few posts by some people in the know that they don't gap the cps to .032..just put it on and make sure the vein doesn't hit it...a little more info on this would be greatly appreciated...!!!

I thought it was .030?! No wonder I can only muster a 116 in the quarter mile...

I'm pretty sure it doesn't make a damn bit of difference, but FWIW I'm pretty sure it's .030 or thereabouts.

If you can fit a match in there, it's too big a gap. If you use the matchbook, yer just about right.

It's .030 and a feeler gauge is only a few dollars so why not get one and do it right.

again as long as it clears the vein your golden.
the .030 number just lets you know for sure.
if you have a metric feeler gauge then go ahead and measure it.

But...

...that's not a metric measurement. It reads thirty thou, or thirty thousandths of an inch.
