i'm about to start my 60k (the SHo i just bought has 168K on it) and i think that i read somewhere that your CPS is most likely ok if the tach shows RPM's when you crank the engine. i'm just wondering how true is this, if at all. also is the single core radiator in the SHO, SHO specific or could i use one out of a taurus/sable? thanks in advance.

Yes, that is technically correct but the CPS is a 60k item that should be replaced every 60k. If you have no history on the car, replace it. If you do have records, see when it was last replaced. If it's been within 60k miles then it should be ok.

Yes, it's a single core radiator. You can use any radiator, SLO or SHO. Be aware also that the ATX radiator will fit the 3.0 MTX cars. The ATX radiators have the trans cooling line connectors but otherwise it bolts up and functions exactly the same. The ATX SLO radiator carries a much less expensive price tag than the one listed for the 3.0 MTX cars, at least they do here in MI.
