Hey all I'm suspecting I have the incorrect valve body in my tranny causing limp mode.

I had it rebuild less than a year ago they said they changed the valve body to a new one. And Im guessing its the wrong one. the shop couldn't figure out why it was shifting hard.

I was informed by someone that they have different valve bodys based on the year.
I was given these links. I decided to come here get as much info as posisble because I am in for a shit show and i'm not sure how im gonna work this out.

I'm not sure what im gonna tell the shop I took it back to them once before.
but I cant stand it anymore I got it to shift somewhat smoother but im pretty sure its in limp mode. And If i do a hard pull from a dig the tranny shifts insanely hard im also strating to get tranny noises whinning and buzzes.

There are different valve bodies. I can't remember what issues may arise (if any) from using an incorrect valve body year. It would all depend on the changes that may have been made. From the description of the bulk part differences sound like they incorporated some of the Shift Kit problem solvers in the newer versions. If that is the only changes, this would not be a show stopper for swapping valve bodies.

I would take it back to the shop that did the work. Just be sure to tell them everything you are experiencing. Without a full diagnostics, it's a crap shoot as to what the problems may be. I have several valve bodies, but they are in spare tranny's and would need to pull them out to see if/what differences there were. It's been a while since I've messed with my tranny...
