Correct tire size

I have a 1992 SHO. I just picked up a set of 17 x 7 Team Dynamics Motorsport wheels. What tire size would you guys recommend? Thanks for the help.

With a 7" width rim 225/50/17 would be a good matching tire with close diameter of 25.9" compared to the stock 26.3". If the speedo error wouldnt bother you and you wanted a smaller tire sidewall 225/45/17 would also fit, if you want to push it and deal with the buldging 235/45/17 would you give the most contact patch with those 17"x7" rims.
