Is there a trick to removing the bulbs from the curb lights on the sides of the front bumper? I tried earlier this evening to remove a burnt-out bulb from the left side lamp, and have a cut on my thumb for my effort.

Take the screws out and it'll fall right out from the front. Much easier that way than to try and stick your hand inside to do it. Assuming it's the same on your car as my 91.

I think I'll try that. At least I'll be able to see what I'm doing.

Actually, I meant getting the bulb itself out of the socket. I tugged on it pretty hard, and it didn't budge. Is the bulb clipped into the socket, or is it just hard to remove?

SilverSho I would suggest two pairs of pliers. Just be careful you don't crack the socket side.

Bizzy, I also have a 90, where are the screws you remove at?

I figured it out. On the socket there is an O-ring around the end that goes into the lens. You have to take that off, then there is a clip around the base of the socket that holds the bulb in place. Take that off, then simply pull the bulb out. Once you have the new bulb in place, push the (square-shaped) clip back into place, replace the O-ring, and put it back in the lens.
