Ive got a 95ATX which normally runs in the O-R range on the temp gauge. Ive noticed that I get this faint grinding noise when the fans are on and my car runs in the N-O range now when hot.

I went underneath them and with a viewpoint from the bottom the fan on the right spins free and fine but the left one is seized and doesn't turn when I poke with it. It doesnt seem like the fan motors would cause that, is it more like some kind of fan bearing on the left one itself or is that part of the motor on the fan as well?

Does anyone know if these fans are interchangable with any stock taurus or am I going to have to find a SHO specific replacement, or just change the whole assembly?

Thanks! :type:

I believe the ATX fans are unique and not very expensive for the replacement motor.
