Cooling fan quit working!!

My cooling fan quit working about 2 months ago, but here in Michigan, it didn't matter... yet. Now it's getting warmer.

I tested the motor which I replaced last year, it works. The main fuse on the firewall is ok. I replaced the relay box last year. Anyone know what else could cause it not to go on? Even when I run the defrost or air, it doesn't come on, which it normally would.

Any ideas? Thanks!!!

This just happened on my Sable... The first problem I had was the car won't start. I replaced that "relay" box on the radiator support and the car started but no cooling fan. I checked out everything and in the end it turned out to be the new relay box I had just put in was bad. Replaced it and the cooling fan worked fine.

BTW- did you try jumping the temp sensor?

Shorting an analog sensor is wrong. Don't do it. It isn't a switch.
