Well guys, my cooling fan definitely broke BIG time today. I noticed that in the past year, my cooling fan doesn't seem to come on unless I turn the AC on, at which point it will run. So whenever the car gets above 210 degrees on my autometer guage, I'll turn the AC on low just so the fan kicks on. I was doing this today and all of a sudden, I heard a really loud buzzing noise and then a large cloud of white smoke came out from under my hood, so I shut the car off. Now my fan wont' come on no matter what I try. What are my options? Do they still make the cooling fan for our cars? If I buy a universal fan from Summit or Jegs, should I buy a pusher or puller fan and how many CFM's should I look for minimum? Any other ideas?? One last question, I have a dual-cooling fan setup from an ATX in my basement but I've heard that its not a plug-and-play deal to install those into an MTX, any advice there??

I would just keep it stock. Get a replacement fan (I think they still make them) or post a WTB ad for a used one.
