I just wanted to know if I could replace the dual cooling fan assembly in my 1994 ATX with a single fan assembly??? my fans are all cracked.
Would a single fan be enough??

It is not a good idea, unless you can find a 2 speed fan. The EEC runs the smaller fan when the A/C is on, and the larger when the ECT sends a signal that the engine is too warm. A single fan may not have enough capacity to be effective.

Or enough room to fit. The engine on the ATX is positioned farther forward than that of the MTX and it required the use of a thinner fan shroud and motor configuration.
