Hello all, my low coolant light just started coming on when the resivoir has coolant and the radiator does as well, the temps seem normal. I think it may be the sensor because I took a wire brush to the probes and it temporarily fixed it, how would I go about diagnosing this issue? Thanks for any input!

the sensor can get covered w/ crud and not recognize if there is coolant there or not. sometimes you can clean it, and sometimes it must be replaced.

Thanks, what is the sensor called? I can't seem to find it on the web.

Don't think you by the sensor aftermarket. I have several extra bottles for mtx cars. Try your local j/y

Same issue and same fix. Luckily I had a spare sensor though.
