I've got a little problem. I am peeing coolant... out of the little tube that runs from somewhere in between the heads into the back side (closest to the firewall) of the throttle body. The tube has a little hole in it, so I pulled it off and tried to replace it with another section of tubing. I guess the tubing is a little smaller in diameter. That, and the fact that the tube is shaped to make the curve into the TB, lead me to believe that the original piece is a pretty specific part. (like the upper coolant hose is specifically shaped) A cross section of te tube shows little holes running alonside the main passage, if that made sense.

I haven't looked for one yet, but is there a specific name for this little hose? Anyone have one without holes?

that sounds like the hard line for the heater core....
If your heater doesnt work, you can just bypass all of those hard lines, remove them and put in a 5/8'' heater hose from the outlet of the tstat area, back to the top of the tstat area... the outlet is on the bottom... you will also have to cut out the ECT sensor with pipe still attached, that way you can just splice it in, on that line you just installed...

if this is what your talking about then i can gets some pics up of my setup.. which is the above... :thumb:
if its not alittle more help on were its leaking would help...

OK, here's the deal. ll the coolant I lost is not from that little tube. It's from another tube that I didn't connect, because I'm a *****. But I still need the tube in the first picture.

You could just do the TB coolant bypass...and you won't have the leak anymore. And it will only cost you 20-30 cents worth of coolant hose.

The curve is gradual enough in the leaking hose to use a straight section of bulk coolant hose. I did. Be thankful. That is one of the easier hoses to access under the throttle body.
