I was accelerating from a turn onto a highway, I hit about 5000 in 1st, and probably the same in second and I heard a pop and steam started billowing from under the car, through my vents and around the side of the hood. I parked and checked and the passenger side heater hose blew off of the metal section. It was violent enough that I heard a "popping" sound.
I don't know if this is subpar clamping force, or could the thermostat or radiator cap cause this?
