In the interest of helping people out during convention time, I thought those of us that are close, and willing to help out with facilities for light/moderate wrenching would be able to list a location and capabilities at such, for people that would not/prefer not to work on their cars in the parking lot at the hotel, or may need more tools than they have with them, etc...
I'll start:
My place is about 1 mile south of I-94 off 131, about 5 miles from the hotel. I have a 2 car attached garage (which will be full at night but will be open for wrenching if the sun is beating down) but also have a driveway- not a parking lot kinda thing. I will have access to some extra parking by our condos, (I have 2 overflow lots by my garage that can hold about 5-6 of you for a short time (not overnight) if people would like to work on some things with access to water for washin', electric and air tools for fixin'. Hand tools, jacks, jackstands, etc., etc... I have a compressor, airgun, and diegrinder among other misc. things.
Just thought I'd offer it up... Unsure yet if I will be around all week, but I know at least a few days I'll be around all day.
As the time draws near, maybe we can print up a map and distribute at the hotel or something.
