And hopefully Ill track the '89 this time. Given the short distance, Ill just give the Powerstroke the job of getting the SHO there and back, broken or not. :thumb:

I just checked and the GT-H is available at the Seattle airport for $138 a day. The regular Mustang is $67 but that might be for the V6. Also available are the Volvo S80, the Infiniti M35, G35 for $109, $113, $109 respectively (all from Hertz). Wow, that's kinda expensive. I can rent a Mustang GT here for $47 Canadian ($48.41 US) from National.

yeah I checked too and renting the Hertz Mustang for the week was over $750.00.

Seattle seems to be an expensive place for renting cars.

Will have to further investigate!

Another route to consider is interstate 80 all the way to Salt Lake City. There is a couple grades in Wyoming and you go down into Saltlake but after that is is pretty flat. If you head north out of Salt Lake on interstate 15, you can catch the 84 all the way to Portland Oregon and head up Seattle from there. You might take the 82 to the 90 in Washington and thats fine. It is a straighter shot but it has some grades. I have driven I80 2 times in winter and made great time. Left on Saturday afternoon from Kalamazoo, pull into Bend Oregon Monday night at 10:30 and that was getting delayed in Cheyenne for 6 hours(loss 6 hours of drive time) because of a wreck up on the pass. It was winter so don't panic. I would say if you left the Midwest on a Friday, you should pull into Seattle on Sunday evening and thats having time to sleep! This is a route that there not a lot to see so I would do it on the way there and take 90 back if you have time to site see.
