Stick with the '94 CPU. The shift program is better. I'm sure others will offer their opinions on additional shortfalls of the '93 CPU.

If you check the part numbers of all the sensors on the motors they will be they same. the few numbers that are not the same will be different due to improvements or up-grades. Ergo, the motor will not know the difference between the 93 and 94 computer.

The 94 computer in the 94 SHO is intigrated with everything else in the 94 SHO (to the extent that integration goes). Changes between the 93 and 94 model year computer, and possibly other parts or components, may not be as compatible with the 93 computer programming. Why risk having problems?
Note: 93 is a cut off year, and 94 is the year of substantial changes.

I think what the man is trying to say is: stick with the '94 program. It is a common mod to upgrade the '93 computer to a D4U1 in early gen2 SHOs.

If you can get someone to buy it then go for it! They aren't that desirable...personally I'd blow it up. :thumb:
