computer swap?

so i picked up some random stuff from a buddy and in it was an x2j. I have a 91 and i have read that swapping mine for that one is a good idea, but why? what will it get me?

Nothing. You'll have 3 digit codes instead of 2, but that's about it.

but its one of those 'if you have it, why not use it' type of deals.

some of the pcm settings for timing etc. are different. depending on who you talk with, you will get a different answer about if there is any significant difference, and if there is, which is better.

you might experiment and draw your own conclusions.

From my understanding all the 3.0 tunes are identical and all PCM's when tuning read as an X2J.

Odd. I thought the X2J's had a more aggressive tune. Maybe i miss read.
But also 3 digit codes FTW Lol.
