On my 92 SHO the computer does not seem to keep the programming. What I mean is that if I turn the car on and take off and then turn on the A/C, it will stall and turn off when applying the brakes. If I turn on the car and the A/C before taking off as you would when re-programming, it will be OK at stops.
I have bought another computer thinking it was the problem but it turned out it wasn't. I was told about the wire going to the computer not supplying power when the car is off. Could this be the problem? If so, how do I correct?
I just sold the car and I told the buyer about the procedure to ensure that it doesn't turn off but I would rather know how to fix it instead.
