Collision Warning Malfunction

Good morning,

Can someone please tell me how to get this fixed?

Is it the sensor behind the bumper?
Is it the camera from the windshield?
Is it one of the side sensor?

Could be any of those or a wiring issue or a computer issue. You will need to get the codes pulled to know.

I would suggest ForScan and a good adapter. You will be able to read the codes and if needed, after any repairs, program the system.

Your forward radar is either bad/damaged or there is something blocking it. These are the typical top 3 reasons, the radar doesn't just uncalibrate itself so there is a good change you might be spending some money to fix it. Best case it can be reset and you have a small wiring issue, but hard to say until you're into it.

Mine was out when I bought my 2010, I searched and searched for a module. I came to that conclusion because forscan wouldn't communicate with it. Bought a like module, mine ended in AK and I bought an AJ on a gamble on ebay out of Canada. It worked like a charm. As the guy said above start with Forscan and a good adapter that has hs can.
