My buddy got a code reader and we hooked it up to the SHO and it read that the computer wasn't responding? My CE light doesn't come on anymore either?

What do I do?
What should I check?
Has this happenend to one of you guys?
please help!

Since your CEL doesn't come on (double check it by turning the ignition key on without starting), there is a fault in the circuit.

The fault could be a burned out bulb, an open circuit between the bulb and the computer (via the EEC connector), a faulty computer, or a problem with the supply voltage to the circuit.
