211 (M) Ignition PIP signal was erratic or missing - Ignition Systems
214 (M) Error in Cylinder ID (CID) circuit or signal - Ignition Systems

Pulled these codes after i got home from work.

On my way to work this morning i was passing a car and got the engine up to 7k and my check engine light came on. I let the engine return to idle and it went off. So i did this a couple times and the same thing happened, engine gets up to 7k, CEL comes on, get off the gas and it goes off again. I just did a front 60k, replaced the crank sensor but not the cam sensor. Anyone have an idea on whats going on? Im ordering a cam sensor right after i post this.

Very well could be the cam sensor assuming the crank sensor was installed correctly. Any other issues with the car besides the CEL?

Looks like the weather here in MI is finally going to clear up, so I hope you get it figured out:thumb:

She does missfire every now and again but i attributed that to oil in the plug wells. This makes me think that my crank sensor is suspect to. I hope not because that means a lot more work getting back down to the crank.

The fact that you received both the CID and CPS codes points more towards a common denominator than the unlikely failure of both of those sensors. Check the DIS module connections, the DIS module mounting screws, the tightness of the screws on the brackets that hold the intake's balance (crossover) tube and finally the attachment and tightness of the ground strap to the top mounting bracket bolt on the aft passenger side of the intake manifold. It may be an input/output discontinuity to the DIS or an intermittent ground to that module.
