guys help me with this code and what i should do about it. we have checked all the egr componets that the tech. guide from ford says to check. still getting the code...... we have looked inside the intake and seen carbon build up, could this be clogging the airflow from the egr?

Without looking this up I believe that is a DPFE code. You can try replacing it, mine ended up being a short in the harness.
332 is the egr valve opening not detected.
normally, this is not a problem with the egr valve itself, but with the 2 small tubes that run up to the sensor - the tubes get carboned up and not enough air moves for the sensor to detect that the egr valve is open. typical solution is to remove the tube between the exhaust manifold and the intake manifold, and clean it out.

The tube under the intake too. There is 2 pipe plugs you have to take out to clean it. Mine was plugged almost solid
