code 551, intake manny runner control, what should i be looking for?

hey guys thats the only code i have, i have had it for a while. im pretty sure that everything is connected up fine in regards to the intake manifold, but i could be blind. the car is running perfect, but i think i should have a bit better milage outa the gas tank. any ideas?

Make certain the IMRC solenoid is plugged in.

If it is, pull the solenoid and make certain the coil is neither open or shorted.

My bet is that you don't have any secondaries and the car is a dog below 4k.

Don't ask me how I learned that....
