Code 19 in Gen 1 ?

My friends 90 died on him last night. I pulled the codes. It had 6 codes. The one is 19 for bad pcm or no power to pcm. The car has spark but just cranks doesn,t even try to start. Also had codes for lean and rich front o2 sensor,maf,and temp sensor. Car was running then died. He tried to start it for about a hour. He put a pcm in it today from our parts 91 parts car. Still doesn,t try to start. Any ideas.

We had some time to check it out.I did a compression test on it friday. There is ( cylinder 1 to 6) 25,0,120,15,0,85. maybe that is why it shut off. No compression on # 2 and 5 cylinder.

Busted or stripped timing belt.

Yep, timing belt, will for sure do that, give you unusual compression readings.

I didn't get to look at it yet. Another guy at work was looking at it for him. I thought the same thing last night . The ******* did overheat it two days before it died. I know it's not crank cancer because I put a front crank seal in it 4 months ago.

About a month ago i tried to check fuel pressure. I put the gauge on it he turned the key. It had 30 lbs. The tach went the whole way around now it is stuck under the pin. He was so ****** that he didn't want to work on it anymore. What could cause the tach to go all the way around?
