Hello every one,
I'm having a problem with a code 41. System lean 15 seconds or more(no ho2s switching)

also code 13 isc not responding properly. idle speed control motor or air by pass not controlling idle properly.ISC sticking open, ITS circuit or tp sticking.

Engine Off I get code 11
Engine running I get Code 41, and 13.

I don't know where to start

Start with posting in the correct forum! Check your PM's :)

In the meantime, code 11 = system checks out a-ok.

Code 41 may indicate a failing front oxygen sensor.

Code 13 may indicate a failing IAB valve or throttle position sensor. The IAB is long round thing mounted behind the throttle body and the throttle position sensor is the rectangular black box mounted on the side of the throttle body.

It's ok guys... Greg's a good guy & we got things straightened out via PM :thumb:

As I said Greg, trying giving the IAB a clean via the directions I sent you. Since you said your car is acutally running fine I don't think any of your codes are causing serious problems, but if you've recently changed O2 sensors and you're still getting a lean code up front it may be worth the time to pull one of the plugs and see if it's burning hot.

Hey Chris,
I rebuilt this engine 3 years ago and I never drove it . It just sat because I started a new job and never had the time to put in to it. I just got into an accident and my car was totaled. So I break out the sho and throw a battery in it and it starts right up and runs fine. But I do remember 3 years ago after I installed the o2 sensors I bought the y setup from the sho shop and I mig welded them myself. I noticed that I didn't have a perfect bead all the way around and I believe I got it right the second time. Today it sounds like I can hear a ever so slight leak maybe. Will that throw off the 02 sensor possibly.Because after I welded the exhaust my check engine light went on.What do you think?
and thanks again
greg
