Hi Eric,

Need more info ...what year SHO are you talking about? Have you been experiencing any problems?

Are you sure you pulled the codes correctly?

My scan tool gave me a code 10 . Cyl balance # 1 low . What would this be .
I think you need to run the test again. Your car (95) should have 3 digit codes versus 2 of the Gen 1. The codes for Gen 1 & 2 start out with 11 or 111 respectively.

Regarding KOER test (runs a cylinder balance test)

Gen 1 codes

Gen 2 codes
The CBT test results are not the traditional two or three digit codes.

A code of 10 does indicate cylinder #1 was below the threshold in the CBT.

This can be cause by one of several different problems:

1) Weak ignition in that cylinder due to worn plugs, wires, oil in well, etc

2) Poor compression due to worn or faulty rings or valves

3) Clogged or malfunctioning fuel injector

4) Loss of injector drive from the PCM or wiring problem

Perform all three phases of the CBT and record all codes. To initiate the second and third phases of the test, press and release the accelerator within two minutes of the last code output.

Each subsequent retest uses a smaller RPM drop to calculate whether or not the test results are a "PASS".

If you pull the plug and examine it, you may get further clues as to the cause of the weak cylinder.
