I know that the Mustang calipers must be swapped Left and Right to allow the bleeder to be in the proper orientation, but what about the brackets? I assume the brackets go on the correct side (no swapping) since they're probably designed to take force primarily in the forward direction.

The PBR calipers float on the pads, so the brackets can be installed either way. The difference will be which end has the retaining pin, which is arguably easier to deal with when it's on the top part of the bracket. Just put the bracket in with the retaining pin on the end that you want it. It won't affect the caliper orientation.

to add to this... the bleeder screw should face up

Where can I pick up the bolts that fasten the brackets to the steering knuckles?

I've got to make a RockAuto purchase anyway, it'd be nice if they were available there. Just need to know the right part #.

Thanks!

I finally got around to this mod the other day.. Moving the holes 0.7" closer put the pads at exactly the right place, and there was no point at which the pad overhung the rotor. Thanks again to everyone for the help. :thumb:
