It's time for a new clutch.......again.......I want to use a grizzly tob release that
I have left over. I like the heavier clutch pedal it creates. When I got my first sho back whenever it had a valeo clutch and grizzly tob and this combo I thought was great.
MY question is what aftemarket clutch will work best with this release?
I have a 92 every bolt on and lightened tob chattering and clutch slipping(has valeo clutch & stock tob)

Most all of the stock aftermarket kits will use a Valeo disk and pressure plate. The one from Autozone, Duralast kit, has an easy to use lifetime warranty.

To make the grizzly paw bearing, a Rev A bearing (whcih does have nicely ground raceways) is taken and the inner guide sleeve is "punched" to allow it to slip over the metal quil sleeve that comes with the Rev B bearings. About half that I've seen end up with tears in the metal sleeve from the punching operation - this exposes the innards of the bearing to a direct flow of clutch dust etc.

I am not certain, but I believe SHOnut offers ceramic conversions for existing grizzly paw type bearings, however they might need to be new.

I would check the bearing you have carefully for that tearing problem - zak
