Picked up the SHO today...I love it. I got one queston though, the clutch engages super low. I have to press the pedal really hard. I've drivin mostly sticks since I was sixteen and, it dosn't feel like its slipping. Is this normal. can I adjust it or somthing???

With engine off, pull clutch pedal back towards you with toe of foot.Hold for a minute ,press pedal down slowly all the way down and it should click. The clutch should be adjusted.

If it didn't click, the cable may be stretched out.

Seems to be getting more common as these cars age.

more than likely your clutch is fine, i've been in 3 MTX SHOs (including mine) and the clutch is like that, be happy it is, u'll be shiftin' quicker and tighter :)

i agree..though my MTX engages a little sooner than other MTX cars it didnt take long to get used to it. Soon it will be like an old hat. Your clutch is fine and Im sure will endup outlasting you pressure plate fingers.

You can even push on the clutch pawl (the blue gear) with your thumb while depressing the clutch pedal in order to get those few extra clicks of adjustment.

Give it a shot, this may work.
