My clutch just went bad on my 90mtx sho with 68k. I was wondering if anyone has had any work don in the DFW area. Im looking for a good shop with decent pricing. Im pretty sure im going to replace the flywheal because the original owner never performed the clutch recall. Im planning on buying a clutch kit and flywheal from shonut and having someone do the work for me. I read a few recomendations on shotimes for work in the dfw area but wanted to get your opinions.
Thanks,

Wazer,
Some Lone Star sho guys have used the transmission shop in Richardson with success. I think their info is in another post in this area... good luck, and you are welcome to join our "texas sho club" board at topica.com. Just search for LSSHOC and sign up..

Just a note of caution. The Transmission Shop in Garland (vs. Richardson) has so far only been referenced for ATX work. I have yet to see any MTX services performed there.

Thanks for the heads up Scott. I found a shop listed on shotimes.com that will do the work. The Masters Touch (Randy Woods). I talked to them and they seemed fairly competent. He quoted me 500 bucks for laybor and that includes changing the rear seal and installing the new flywheel. Im just hoping i can get all the parts i need for a decent price and fast. I know shonut has the stuff i need but i dont know if they can get it to me in time. Well anyways i really appreciate all the help Scott.
