I have a 91 MTX, and when I am letting off the clutch after a shift I can feel a vibration at the top of the release. After it is in gear I can hear a kind of grinding sound up till about 2500 RPM. The clutch does not slip at all, and it feels normal besides the above problem. Is it time to get a new clutch or is there just one part that is bad. Thanks.

Sounds like the throwout bearing which has a shorter lifespan than the friction material in the stock Ford clutches. If the transmission is coming off, you should check on replcaing the rear main oil seal, the clutch, throwout bearing and other wear parts. There have been many discussons on the best parts to replace in this topic.
