Hey Guys, Do any of you guys think that the Clutch Pedal thing works which is in the manual. It states to shut your car off put your car in first and pull the the clutch pedal up toward you .You should hear a couple of clicks if it tightenedup the clutch cable..I've ndone the procedure a couple different times of the the past 9 years with my car and notice no difference what so ever. Yes I said 8 years...It's a 94 which I bought in 96 w/30k.it now has 145k..DOH!!Any thoughts??

No, you said, "9 years." Lifting on the clutch pedal with about 10 pounds of force will allow the ratchet mechanism on the clutch pedal to remove any slack in the cable due to wear on the clutch disk, pressure plate fingers or throwout bearing. Either you haven't had any wear (unlikely), you haven't heard the clicks or you have sidestepped the clutch pedal during rapid shifts. That action will also keep the proper tension in the cable (not the most recommended procedure, however).
