My '94 SHO with about 130K is having "tranny issues." I've been told it needs a full clutch, and I've been told that it could be just a stretched cable, and I've been told that it could be the synchros.
Here are the symptoms:
* Can't go into reverse anymore with the engine running without EXCESSIVE reverse grind. (Used to be able to do the 1st to reverse, can't anymore.)
* All gears are difficult to shift into- just shifting gears is a workout (especially 1st and 2nd).
* No grinding when shifting into any forward gears.
* Does not seem to be slipping under hard acceleration.
Any thoughts? I'm the 3rd owner, no records. At 130K I'm sure the stock crappy clutch was replaced, I just don't know when.
Thanks.

oh well. I'm pretty sure it is the pressure plate fingers. Right now im saving up for a clutchmasters stage I with a ceramic TOB so that I wont have to replace this f'in thing every few years.
