I went home for lunch the other day stopping at the grocery store to pick up a few things. When I start the SHO and every time I depress the clutch pedal, for as long as I depress the clutch pedal, I feel a pulsation from the pedal. I figure, "Great! The throwout bearing's going". I ride my motorcycle back to work, but things get weird when I get home that evening. When I try to start it, it acts like the battery is dead, none of the accessories work, the memory is wiped from the radio, and the clock goes out. I can't get the car out of gear no matter how far I depress the clutch until I jack up one of the front wheels. A check of the battery shows 12.75 volts.

Two questions:
What's a clutch job going to cost me?
Is the electrical problem somehow related to the transmission or just a coincidence?

Sounds like the TOB pushed through the pressure plate fingers. Suckage. :frown:

Clutch job should be between $600 and $800. More if your mechanic likes using that KY stuff... :oogle:

Damn! The quote I got was knocking on $1000's door for clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing, resurface flywheel, and labor.
