can someone give me directions to the easiest way to doing a clutch in my 89. Note: I have a garage but only have 1 foot ramps no lift and limited tools. Please let me know what specialty tools i will need. First time doing this on a SHO, heard was difficult, asking for experienced people to help me. Thanks

As stated, get the video from SHO NUT, and ask Scott Patterson (sdpatt) for his write-up. The video comes with a step-by-step hardcopy too, but I found it very useful to cross reference it with Scott's when I needed additional detail in spots.

The needed tools are listed on the write-ups.

Look on the Forum for Scott's engine support plans. It's a very good design.

Get a high-lift jack and jack stands. Sears has the 3 ton combo set I purchased on sale again for $49.99.

Search this site for posts detailing other *********'s experiences. wink

Good luck,
Tom

It's been a while, but I am intending on stopping down sometime soon for those seats. I have the clutch video and am willing to help you in your swap. I'll lend you the video as well as a hand. PM me your number again I changed cell phones and lost it frown

Bring it up to me with a couple hundred dollars and you'll be all set. :) JK Like the other people said, start with the SHONUT video, as there is nothing else out there that could even start to help you as much as that ever could!
