clutch/cable/tranny problem

Just recently after driving 700miles around new england, most of it in 85 degree plus weather, i noticed something with my clutch pedal. As i push it down near the top you can feel it kinda click twice, and you can hear things make sounds like something is getting caught and not moving fluidly. Has this happened to anyone before? The clutch itself doesn't feel any different and there is no problem shifting or getting around the gears. Thanks for any input
