I accidentally threw away the bushing as it slipped off the cable while I was doing the clutch, and it got tossed with trash (oops). I was thinking of getting a bushing at the hardware store, then cutting it to size. It wouldn't have the clips but I'd at least be able to move the car in the short term quicker than ordering a replacement.

I could, and have it in my list. The idea is to get it fixed and not wait for shipping. If I knew the material it was made with, I could get a bushing of the same material and cut it to length.

Thanks. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem ordering the one from shosource, but in the short term we have to work with what we got :)

Now to shuffle through stuff around here so I can get to shifting!

(I have a little plastic thing on the cable, but does not keep the cable tight so almost certain it was the bushing that I accidentally tossed)
