Alright guys-
My 1992 SHO is having a small lighting issue. The other night I turned off my Auto Lamp switch and then when I turned it back on my cluster lights wouldn't come back on and my fog lights won't work.

So- I'm open to all suggestions on how to track this one down.

Thanks!

Since they're right next to each other, did you accidentally slide the dimmer down with the auto headlamp slider? but that wouldn't explain the foglamps.

If youve wired the fog lights to come on with the cluster lights instead of the head lights i have found that the fog lights wont come on if they are dimmed all the way down.

1. Pop out your foglamp switch to see if it's had the "foglamp mod" done. This is where your foglamps can be turned on/off while only the parking lights are on. It's possible if someone did the mod they may not have used "crimps" and only electrical tape, causing wires to touch.

2. Check the foglights themselves. It is very common for them to blow out all by themselves. Being so old sometimes water can seep in.

3. Lastly i would look for another auto lamp switch. You can get one from another SHO, or LX taurus for about 10-15 $$ from a junkyard. When mine went bad it gave me some funny electrical gremlins too!
