Climate control

My '97 has developed an irritating little quirk. Almost every time I turn off the car with the climate control system on, the fan blows at full speed. Sometimes it shuts off after a couple of seconds, sometimes it doesn't and I have to turn the key back on to get the blower to stop.

Anyone encounter this before?

I experienced that when I had my 98 Duratec Taurus but I have not had it happen with the SHO knock on wood.

Finally figured this one out. The blower finally ended up quitting completely and the problem turned out to be a bad relay in the power distribution box beside the battery. Just in case anyone else has the same problem.
