Do the buttons light up on climate controls with the hard buttons? How do they look with all the other stuff green?

The one I got for a replacement is a yellow green light that doesn't match the blue green of the dash on my '93.

I'm happy with the buttons in one piece. Looks better than the white light peeking through the broken buttons.

Jeez - I'm bidding on one from a lincoln! Yellow lights here I come! Think I'll just pretend the lights were a custom mod :D

some of the lincoln ones have the green that matches the gen I's All the 95 sable/tauri I have seen have all been bluish-green that matches the gen II's. I have only seen one out of a later model lincoln, and it was also blueish-green.
I have a 95 sable one in my plus(genI) and I tokk and put the green face from my old eatc in place of the new one giving me a matching green display, however the buttons are bluish-green if you look really really close (which is hard to do when I tromp on the 3.2 quaife equipped gas pedal)
hope this helps

Good news Steve. Maybe the Lincoln climate control will work out good!

I am now too worried about the color just like it working ok. Is the answer the same? Anything that looks just like it will mechanically work?

Theres a good chance that it will work (I would bid on it if I needed one). It should also be a green display with green buttons.

I have several EATC heads from a bunch of different cars and so far if the buttons matched what you have now it will work. If it does not work you would need the blower control module from the vehicle that the head came from. I have one from a Crown Vic That look similar that does not work because the blower control module is different; it has different buttons than that one (it has "NORM AC" buttons instead of the "VENT" and "VENT" instead of "PNL-FLR"). As far as I know thats the only other version of head unit.

I work with U.P.S and I was delivering to a junkyard, I knew the lady and asked her if she had any units, she dug 1 up and I hooked it up, buttons were perfect!!! but it didnt work. Took mine apart, and the broken one apart. took the face off the broken unit and put it together with mine. After all was said and done, it was green!! Got it for free, buttons were perfect, took the blue glass off my unit, display is blue, buttons green, do I care...NOPE it still looks great!! not very noticable. Its a shade off- better than looking at broken buttons!!
