Climate control problem

I have a 95 ATX and when you have the control off it pushes hot air out the defroster. When I turn it on I can control where the air comes out and how much but it's still hot,sometimes it's cool air. I hear,what's like a heart beat coming from the dash area when the control is off. I'm really new to SHO's and could use some help. Thanks in advance.

The blend door actuator is bad.

are you sure its not the blower control module? because he said it came out while the unit was off....i thought the blower control module was responsible for that?

Usually the blower control module failure keeps the fan running high. The blend door allows air to go through the heater core to warm the air up. If the blend door is messed up you will still get heat with the ETAC set at max AC. Also he heard a thumping sound. The bad part is that you have pull the dash to fix it. I did read someone was able to go through the opening for the stereo.

You'll have to pull the dash back in order to replace the BDA. Not a fun job.

It's a Ford-only part.
