The Cliamte control in our 93 SHO is acting up. The heat is stuck on; it will not turn off and there is also no control over the fan speed. I checked the hoses in the back and they seemed fine. Could it be the unit itself? We also have the same problem in our 96, its not a sho but its the model right under it. It dosn't happen as often in this car, but it turns all the controls off, like the stereo. I tried searching, but couldn't find anything on it.

Sounds like a BCM (blower control module) When you press off and shut the car off, then restart it does it still blow air?

Well i ran the test and came up with the number 6.. 888 Test complete - no failures (all segments on). Yes it is almost always blowing; In our 96 it does it every so often but not all the time like our sho. Any other ideas?

If you are getting an intermittent "loss of power/display" on the EATC, you have an electrical system problem concering your charging system. The EATC is very sensitive to small drops in the supply voltage.

Loss of blower motor control is usually the blower speed control module.

Loss of temperature control is usually the Blend door actuator module.

Since you passed self-test, at least those are currently working.
