When I am sitting at an idle I hear a clicking noise, sounds like it's comiing from the tranny. When I push in the clutch the noise goes away(I am a rocket scientist I know). Got any ideas as what this could be from. I don't have any issues with shifting or drivability, it's just annoying for now.

Sounds like a burr on the TOB. Or something equally minor.

Don't worry about it unless it get louder.

Hmmm. Check the transmission fluid level. I would think it is not good. Hope I am wrong.

Yes check the fluid level, but if the clicking goes away when the clutch pedal is pushed own, more than likely the TOB is the culprit.

If it is the TOB, then the part replacement is relatively cheap and painless. You still have to remove the transmission to change it which, depending on where you are and the rust factor in your area, it could be relatively painless.....or not. :)

Good luck!
